Countryboy was born in the small town of Byhalia,Ms. Coming up in Byhalia there weren't a lot of opportunities so people made do with what they had to get by . Just like any poor neighbor hood drugs and crime was the norm not wanting to go the same route Countryboy started to get into music at an early age. Through school freestyle battles he started to get a buzz but didn't take it serious and got caught up in negativity in the neighborhood. By 18 he got it together and moved to Florida to attend FullSail to become a recording engineer. After graduating he moved to Memphis,Tn and opened a home studio. Now after doing beats and recording for folks in the neighborhood he decided it was his time to step out into the front. In his style he uses metaphors to keep his rhymes crisp in a time where everyone is a Dboy or Rich before music ,he represents the other side of life the hardtimes of hard workers. His hope is to make an impact with music and he thinks he has what it takes. |
